The Opportunity
To support the recruiting processes and systems in three key areas.
First, to support the organisation by delivering an appropriate, efficient and cost effective recruitment process for hiring managers within the Regional Office. Offering support, advice and guidance where required. Also ensuring a high quality candidate experience is delivered at all times.
Second, to support our Country Office in their international recruitment activity, by posting vacancies and ensuring applications are collated, long listed and distributed.
Third, to maintain to high standard, relevant administrative processes associated with recruitment, working with recruitment team as appropriate and liaising with HR colleagues to ensure the effective on boarding of candidates.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal job description and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
In order to be successful you will have:
* Master in Human Resources
* Experience in a multicultural and/or multi-locational environment
* Minimum of 3 to 6 years’ experience in recruitment
* Effectively manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication skills (both written & oral), organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to influence to comply with SCI policy and procedures and meet organizational demands
* Qualified HR professional focusing on employment, staffing, recruitment and selection
* Team work and collaboration in a complex environment, problem solving
* Demonstrated ability to plan and organise self and deliver quality results to customers
* Ability and willingness to change work practices and hours in the event of major emergencies
* Excellent use of Database and HR softwares
* Willingness to travel
* Fluency in English and French
* Knowledge of social media recruitment
* Proactive, continues to build and improve on existing procedures
