ALPS Resilience
ALPS is a nonprofit based in Cape Town. We build resilient communities by implementing/managing education projects for the most vulnerable members of society.
Community resilience is a measure of the sustainability of the community to utilise available resources to respond to, withstand, and recover from adverse situations.
ALPS implements a wide range of resilience projects that focus on education and capacity building for the most marginalised members of the community. ALPS places particular importance on educating women of all ages. ALPS works with vulnerable communities to design custom interventions and education workshops. Components of the education workshops include but are not limited to:
