Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative
BIPAI aims to provide high-quality, high-impact, highly ethical pediatric and family-centered health care, health professional training and clinical research, focused on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, malnutrition and other conditions impacting the health and well-being of children and families worldwide.
BIPAI provides healthcare services to approximately 80,000 HIV-infected children and their families. BIPAI operates in Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Libya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Romania, Tanzania and Uganda. It offers world-renowned education for medical students, physicians and other healthcare professionals.BIPAI is headquartered at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas, USA.
