Christian Action for Dependence (CAD)
The objectives of the CAD are based on the Christian ethos, values and way of life, namely:o sobriety: ensure that recovering substance dependents refrain from the use of dependence-producing substances;o Treatment: identify beneficiaries for treatment;o Support: supporting recovering substance dependents by aftercare and reintegration into the community;o Growth: provide therapeutic growth to recovering substance dependents and their co-dependents, ando Resistance: promote resistance to substance dependence.Christian Dependency Service (CAD) is a self-help cure group that meets weekly in towns and neighbourhoods. The leaders are all rehabilitated dependents.
