Our programmes and interventions provide vital social support services and empower people through training, support and resources necessary for them to become self-sufficient and sustainable.
Our team has over 125 staff members, dedicated to the social and economic empowerment of Cape Town’s township communities. At least 100 of us live in the communities we serve. Through our network of committed caregivers, community workers and volunteers, we are able to reach around 20,000 vulnerable children and adults every day.Ikamva Labantu, Xhosa for 'The Future of the People', is a South African non-profit, non-governmental Trust.
