We provide technical expertise in organizational development, human resources for health, quality improvement and accreditation, community systems strengthening, and operations research and evaluation. Initiatives Inc. is a women-owned small business founded in the state of Massachusetts in 1987 and registered with the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business. Initiatives' staff has assisted governments and NGOs in more than 30 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America to strengthen health services. Our company has managed development assistance projects and assembled and supported short- and long-term technical teams of expatriate and local national experts in overseas settings.
Initiatives' work aims to improve the managerial and technical capacity of health professionals in planning, implementing, and sustaining effective health services. Our focus on improving quality of care and client satisfaction leads to effective policies and systems for human resource planning, performance improvement, workforce development, and management.
