KESHO was started in 2004 by a small, voluntary group who were concerned about the lack of educational opportunities for children in Kilifi. Since then we have sponsored nearly 400 children and young adults through school, college and university as well as contributed to their personal, academic and social development. We now have an amazing, dedicated and energetic team led by Mr. MacKinlay Mutsembi, Kesho's Senior Programme Manager. Feel free to get in touch with him at any time - he loves getting to know new people.blocks_image Kesho spends 100% of all your donations on the students themselves to finance their education. We rely completely on donations to sponsor students through school and to pay for our student enrichment programmes. Our administration costs and salaries are kindly paid by grants from the Jonaron Foundation, Alistair Berkley Trust, Thomas Cook Children's Charity and by Friends of Kesho.
