It was initiated in 1998 in response to an increasingly complex and deteriorating refugee situation in Kenya and the region.
Mission
Our mission is to assist in the protection and promotion of the rights and welfare of refugees, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and returnees in Kenya and the wider Eastern Africa region from a rights based approach.
