SADC Research Centre was established in 2006 in Cape Town, South Africa. As a social and economic research and evaluation consultancy we have an excellent track record of delivering clients.

Our role in enhancing the capabilities of people of Southern Africa is to provide research solutions for development. Our insights inform the policies, strategies and programmes of governments, donors and civil society working to enhance the social and economic potential of people living in Africa.

SADC Research Centre was established with the vision of using the most up-to-date evaluation research designs and methods to inform development strategy in Africa. We provide research solutions that improve the ability of government and development organisations to advance on social and economic objectives for a better future. We design, monitor, evaluate and align strategies that support local and global objectives and development plans.
AFRICA FOCUS
At SADC Research Centre we use our local knowledge and experience to benefit your organisation. We recognize the importance of relevance, cultural proximity, engaging stakeholders, social actors and decision-makers through relevant channels and in ways that promote positive change. We have developed capacities and relationships to do this. Context is complex, more so in Africa.
