Studies in Poverty and Inequality Institute (SPII) is a nonprofit research and advocacy think tank committed to advancing the Constitution and the eradication of poverty and inequality in South Africa and the sub-region.SPII seeks to appoint a full-time Researcher for our Socio-Economic Rights Monitoring Tool project.
Working closely with the South African Human Rights Commission and many other partners, the Researcher will undertake rights-based policy and budget analysis and develop statistical indicators to monitor and assess the progressive realisation of socio-economic rights in South Africa, including the rights to health care, social security, housing, education and work, among others.
