Uhambo Foundation
Uhambo Foundation is a South African Non- Profit Organisation. Established in 2010, the Uhambo Foundation grew out of the work of Shonaquip to bring about social change for all children with mobility disabilities in South Africa. Uhambo Foundation complements work of Shonaquip and our partners through providing community engagement, interlinked programmes, accessible resources and quality information.
We do this to enable greater equality and social inclusion for children with disabilities.
Uhambo Foundation’s team includes community workers, programme facilitators, and a social work team.
Uhambo USA, Netherlands and UK support the mission of Uhambo Foundation and Shonaquip abroad, seeking to further the impact of Uhambo's successful holistic model, mobilize resources and cultivate business partnerships to support Uhambo's expansion in Africa and eventually other developing countries.
