Welcome to the War Against Chronic Disease Initiative WAR AGAINST CHRONIC DISEASES INITIATIVE is an initiative targeted to reduce the rate of people suffering and dying as a result of chronic diseases in Africa, chronic disease like cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, stroke, cancer etc especially in the rural areas where awareness is low and access to health care facility is nothing to zero. The project War Against Chronic Diseases became an idea in February 2017, and has since then in conjunction with Fortune wellness Limited a prominent health consulting firm, made awareness a priority by going to schools, organizations, market places and associations to enlighten them on the risk factors and preventive methods against chronic diseases. Adults majorly mothers experience higher risk of three major chronic diseases (Breast and Cervical cancer, Diabetes and Arthritis) which fueled our passion.
