Chemonics seeks food security and agricultural market systems development experts for numerous USAID-funded programs worldwide. Projects will focus on a range of technical areas, including the following.

- Market systems analysis
- Market and trade analysis

- Enterprise development
- Agricultural production
- Post-harvest handling
- Agricultural inputs
- Climate-smart agriculture
- Livelihoods development
- Capacity strengthening and network development of farmer organizations
- Access to finance
- Information and communications technology
- Geographical information systems
- Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Qualifications:
- Degree in an agriculture-related field (e.g., agricultural or development economics, agronomy, international trade, international development, or public policy); advanced degree in an agriculture-related field preferred
- Experience working on a USAID project preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in one or more of the technical areas listed above
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience leading and managing teams
- Broad knowledge of and experience working in developing countries
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage challenging activities involving collaboration with counterparts in local, regional, and international organizations
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Fluency in English required
