JOB DESCRIPTION/SCOPE OF WORK

Position Title: Supply Chain Information System Associate

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

This scope of work (SOW) sets forth the services to be provided by the Supply Chain Information System Associate to SAII Associates Ltd/Gte, an associate company of Chemonics International Inc. in the implementation of the USAID Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) in Nigeria.

Background: The purpose of the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program–Procurement and Supply Management single award IDIQ contract is to ensure uninterrupted supplies of health commodities to prevent suffering, save lives, and create a brighter future for families around the world. The IDIQ has four task orders that directly support the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI), and USAID’s family planning – reproductive health program and Maternal Newborn and Child Health program. GHSC-PSM provides health commodity procurement services and systems strengthening technical assistance that address all elements of a comprehensive supply chain. All four task orders are implemented in Nigeria.

The Supply Chain Information System Associate will work with Manager, Supply Chain Information Systems or designee to carry out the following duties:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Support enhancement of Supply Chain Information ERP solution.
  • Support enhancement of Management Information Systems.
  • Support design and execution of automated ETL for data visibility.
  • Support the design and modelling of data visualization reports.
  • Support SOP development for SCIS solutions.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external Supply Chain information systems’ users.
  • Support the Location and Product Master Data Management across different platforms.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and articulate user requirements for SCIS tools.
  • Service internal and external Supply Chain related data requests.
  • Work closely with Developers to relate stakeholders’ needs.
  • Support Set-up and configuration of information systems.

Any other task as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in applied, natural or social sciences.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in mid-complex data and information systems management
  • Good Knowledge of data management/analysis processes and tools, e.g. Excel, Python, R, MySQL, Tableau, GIS software, etc.
  • Knowledge of ERP software enhancements and usage is required.
  • Understanding of Information systems integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong skills in interpretation and evaluation of data are required.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills are required.
  • Excellent technical writing and oral presentation skills are desired.
  • Excellent Team player with minimal supervision is required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for field work.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Information Systems is desired.

Supervision

The Supply Chain Information System Associate will report directly to the Manager, Supply Chain Information Systems or designee.

Working Conditions/Duration of Assignment

This is a Long – term position for the life of the contract based in Abuja, Nigeria.
