Overview of position
- CTG is looking for candidates whose experience match the below TOR.
Role objectives
- Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance via the phone or email.
- Experience working as an IT Help Desk Technician & first line ICT customer support.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems & experience troubleshooting hardware & software.
- Assist our customers with questions & problems concerning computer systems, hardware & software.
- Ability to diagnose & repair HP Multi Functional Printers (MFP’s).
- Strong skills in configuring & troubleshooting Microsoft applications.
- The ability to break down technological processes & deliver clear, step by step instructions.
- Diagnose & resolve hardware, software & network issues.
- Help users with system navigation, software usage & troubleshooting.
- Provide quick & effective assistance with information technology systems.
Project reporting
- This role will report to the line manager.
Key competencies
- Certificate in a relevant discipline with at least five years of working experience in the information technology area, especially help desk.
- Strong working experience in the installations & configuration of Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience in installation, configuring & troubleshooting of HP MFP’s.
- Working experience in a post conflict environment is desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of client relation management tools (CRM) & IT service management processes.
- Fluency in English, both written & oral, is required.
- Knowledge of French is desirable.
Team management
- This role has no team management responsibility.
