Panagora Group, a woman-owned small business providing novel and integrated solutions in global health and international development, seeks an experienced Administrative Assistant for a Health Technical Assistance project for USAID/South Africa’s Health Office. Panagora Group believes that focusing on integrated approaches to health and development will yield the best long-term results.
We are looking for a creative, dynamic, results focused and experienced professional for this position. This is a fast-paced position, and the Admin assistant will be providing support across different health areas.
This is a long-term position based in Pretoria, South Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments
- Send office correspondence
- Procure project supplies and other equipment
- Note taking
- Manage paperwork for financial requests
- Record keeping and document filing
- Receive phone calls and perform reception duties
- Purchase water, tea, milk and coffee for the office and make coffee as needed
- Manage the meeting room schedule and set-up
- Assist with tracking inventory
- Other duties as assigned by Project Director
Qualifications:
- Associates or vocational degree
- A least three year’s experience as an administrative assistant
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience working with USAID missions or on USAID-funded projects
- Fluency in English
- Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and adapt to frequently changing priorities
- Must be South African or a legal resident
