Purpose of the position:

The purpose of this position is to provide technical leadership in Assessment, Design/redesign, Transition planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (A, D, M&E) with a view to ensuring that these phases of project management conform to established WVI standards. The incumbent is responsible for enhancing quality of operations in designated cluster; enhancing program effectiveness in the cluster; and providing evidence for attribution to Child Wellbeing Outcome Indicators in the respective clusters

Key Outputs/Responsibilities / Accountabilities and results)

Facilitate the establishment of monitoring system in the Area Development Programmes that will effectively track the implementation of the annual operational plans, CWB Monitoring & Outcome indicators and overall goal achievement.

Project/Program Design and redesign- lead program team in logically identifying causal relationship between community risks and vulnerabilities. Using these causal relationship design appropriate intervention to optimize community capacities so as to make a contribution to the CWB Aspirations

Evaluation- supervises ADP and/or Project evaluations at the prescribed time (End of Phase and End Program).

Baseline-Support Program Managers in conducting and interpreting baseline surveys, and also ensuring feedback to the community and stakeholders/partners.

Learning and accountability- conduct investigation of promising practices, facilitate their documentation and replication. Ensure genuine stakeholder participation in all WV programming cycle steps.

Support Program Managers “Transition planning” including reviewing project’s preparedness for transition

Ensure PDDs are high quality, archived and updated, with clear and realistic targets set and implemented

Track ADP’s performance against National Office Child Wellbeing Indicators

Ensure progress reports are high quality and complete before they are send to donors/SO

Support ADP staff in organizing Review Meetings and learning events

Participate in the DM&E related meetings.

Attend and participate in the daily devotional and weekly chapel meetings.
