Under the SPARK Consortium, Action Africa Help International (AAH-I) is building the capacity and facilitating refugees and host community to identify opportunities and implement sustainable and profitable enterprises to build resilience and self-reliance. One of the opportunities AAH-I is exploring is the use of biogas as an enterprise that can give a return to refugees or host community members either from distribution of the same to homes or as an energy source for businesses.
AAH-I is therefore looking to hire the services of a biogas service provider who can develop a business model around biogas units in Kakuma refugee camp, Kalobeyei settlement and the surrounding host community areas.
Deliverables
- Field Work plan
- Feasibility assessment report covering the scope of work (printed in 4 copies and bound)
- Business model for use of biogas as an enterprise showing capital outlay required, return to investment and profitability analysis.
- Three sets of design – 4 copies of printed designs/site on an A2 white sheet of paper
- Three sets of Bill of Quantities to inform carrying out construction of the biogas unit in three sites (Kakuma refugee camp, Kalobeyei and Kakuma town)
- Three sets of term of reference and tender documents for the construction of each biogas unit
- Soft copies of Project documents (PDF & Word file in a CD-R)
