Position

Options Consultancy Services Ltd is a partner in the FCDO funded DESIP programme as part of technical support to the Ministry of Health, Division of Reproductive and Maternal Health is seeking to recruit a consultant with a strong background in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and specifically in Family Planning to guide the review of the 6th Edition of National Family Planning guidelines 2018.

The main objective of this assignment is to revise the 6th edition FP guidelines (2018) to include the current and emerging evidence-based practices in offering quality FP services in line with current global standards and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum Master’s degree in health-related field
  • Experience in public health programmes, preferable SRH
  • Extensive knowledge of Kenya National Reproductive and maternal health programmes
  • Proven previous experience developing standards and guidelines in reproductive health.
  • Previous consultancy experience with Ministry of Health, UN agencies, bilateral agencies or international NGOs.
  • Knowledge/Experience of MOH systems or working with MOH.
  • Available to start work immediately.

  • Adequacy and quality of the proposed workplan, approach and methodology proposed to implement the TOR.
