Title: Data Officer

Location: Kaduna, Nigeria

Contract: 2-year Fixed Term Contract

Working closely with the Country Technical Advisor the Data officer role will ensure the accuracy, validity, reliability, timeliness, relevance and completeness of the programme data and support downstream partners in data collection, analysis and reporting on the epidemiological and training, mass administration of medicine and maintenance of information technology for the DFID ASCEND project in Nigeria.

As the Data Officer you will help oversee data entry, validation, analysis and reporting, monitor treatment in the field and conduct periodic spot check to validate treatment report, and ensure the timely dissemination of reports including key performance indicators to the Country Technical Adviser NTDs to ensure timely production of programme reports.

To be the successful candidate you will require a degree (or equivalent) in computer science, statistics or related field, have significant relevant working experience, ideally in an INGO setting and have a background in monitoring and evaluation. You will possess excellent computer skills, including hands on experience in statistical packages and in database management systems for an integrated programme.

A good standard of English language skills is required for this role.
