Overview of position:
We are seeking a proactive & results driven Digital Transformation Project Manager to lead & support the implementation of CTG’s digital systems, particularly Tayo, across our operations. This role requires a strong focus on change management, ensuring seamless adoption by local teams, clients & stakeholders. The Digital Transformation Project Manager will act as a key liaison between technical teams, end users & leadership, fostering collaboration, ensuring implementation & adoption of the new system to ensure project success.
Role objectives:
Project implementation:
Oversee the end to end implementation of CTG’s digital systems, with a primary focus on Tayo, across designated countries & operational units.
Develop & manage project plans, timelines & deliverables to ensure on time & within budget execution for all digital solutions.
Monitor progress, identify potential risks & implement mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum for both Tayo & other systems.
Work with the technical team to ensure all digital systems meet operational & user needs, providing seamless integration & functionality.
Facilitate feedback collection & ensure continuous improvement of systems based on user input & operational requirements.
Stakeholder engagement:
Collaborate closely with local teams, clients & stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns & tailor solutions to meet operational needs.
Establish regular feedback channels to identify challenges, fine tune digital systems & ensure ongoing alignment with client & operational objectives.
Act as the main point of contact for digital systems related project queries, providing timely updates on project status & developments.
Promote digital solutions, particularly Tayo, by showcasing their impact on efficiency & productivity, encouraging stakeholder buy in & addressing resistance.
Train, work closely & regularly with the regional support services leads to ensure they act as ‘ambassadors’ of the changes & as first focal points for system queries.
Change management:
Lead change management efforts to drive the adoption of CTG’s digital systems across the organization, prioritizing Tayo & supporting other tools as needed.
Develop, execute communication & training plans tailored to diverse stakeholder groups, fostering a culture of digital innovation & efficiency.
Address resistance to change by coaching & supporting stakeholders at all levels, ensuring smooth transitions.
Act as a digital systems ambassador by promoting their benefits, sharing success stories & tailoring messaging to highlight practical advantages for teams & operations.
Develop targeted communication strategies to build awareness & desire for system adoption, ensuring stakeholders understand the value of digital tools in enhancing their roles, work processes & productivity.
Identify areas of low digital utilization or manual processes, collaborating with stakeholders to propose & implement automation opportunities.
Track digital adoption rates & work with the Digital Program Manager to design targeted solutions for underutilized functionalities / systems.
Training & support:
Organize & deliver training sessions for end users, ensuring effective & confident use of all CTG digital systems.
Provide ongoing support to local teams post implementation, resolving issues & enhancing user experience across all systems.
Develop & maintain user friendly guides, manuals & resources for continuous learning & effective system utilization.
Reporting & documentation:
Manage & maintain project implementation documentation, including project plans, feedback reviews, user manuals & presentations for all digital initiatives.
Prepare regular progress reports for leadership, highlighting key milestones, risks, adoption rates & opportunities for improvement.
Develop, share best practices & tools for digital system execution, management & improvement.
Conduct feedback reviews to identify strengths & areas for improvement, ensuring lessons learned inform future digital projects.
Develop KPI frameworks to assess the performance & impact of digital solutions, ensuring clear tracking & reporting on adoption & utilisation.
Project reporting:
This role reports to the Program Manager.
Key competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources systems, information technology or a related field is required.
Certification in project management & / or change management is a key requirement.
Project management certification & advanced experience in IT project management & agile project management / scrum master / product owner is desired.
At least 5 years’ experience in project management, ideally within HR systems or technology implementation.
Prior & relevant experience in Middle East, Africa & / or Asia is desired.
Must be fluent in English.
Proven experience in managing HR system implementations or similar technology driven projects.
Strong expertise in change management & stakeholder engagement.
Proven ability to build strong partnerships with technical counterparts & other stakeholders to ensure alignment & successful outcomes.
Able to obtain cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior management & other teams / departments.
Excellent project management skills, including planning, risk management & delivering on tight deadlines.
Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills, demonstrated experience working closely with technical teams & translating technical requirements into actionable plans for non technical stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems & make data driven decisions.
Self motivated; able to effectively prioritize & execute tasks in a high pressure environment & quickly assess & act on changing priorities.
