Purpose of the position:

The purpose of Food Assistance Information Reporting Coordinator/FAIRC/ is provision of technical support to commodity distribution field staff during field registrations/distributions, responsible for leading field-based stock controller’s pertaining to Commodity Tracking System reports for WV led emergency response woredas in addition to running the LMMS web application to help staff set up new distribution projects. This position will also require delivering systems maintenance, testing new software development for field deployment, soliciting client user requirements and assisting with new/upgraded system installations.

Major Responsibilities

 

·         Consolidation and Reviewing of Monthly & Quarterly Reports (CTS)      

·

 
·         Prompt proper documentation & recording Keeping , 
·         Provide technical assistance LMMS system operation to be functioning well. 
·         Collect all the receipts & issue summary and verify physical inventory of all warehouse 
·         Work closely in close collaboration with field monitors and stock controllers 
·         Identify the capacity gap of commodity staff and provide capacity building training on the application of technology & latest version related to LMMS & CTS.

2.     Very comfortable supporting end-users

3.     Must have strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with an attention to details.

4.     Requires the ability to effectively present concepts to lay users in various settings and by various means (verbal and written).

5.     Good written and oral communication skills

6.     Requires strong communication skills to interact with all levels of staff and management

7.     Must be able to work effectively with a diverse team

8.     Requires the ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks

9.     Good knowledge of oral and written English language.

 

Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Communication & Technology Management Science, Economics, Business Administration or related fields

·         3-5years experience of which One year in producing report using specifically with commodity tracking system/CCTS 2016 and a higher level of skills working with software.

·         Relevant professional experience in relief operation management or project management with in an INGO specifically with commodity tracking systems and a higher level of skills working with software.

 

 

Working Environment / Conditions:

·         Work environment:  Office-based with periodic travel to the field

·         Travel:  Domestic/international travel is required.
