Overview of position
The AA will design, develop, administer & maintain all automated solutions under SharePoint online & will administer all deployed UN application systems by ensuring integrity, availability & confidentiality of data.
Role objectives
Within delegated authority, the AA will be responsible for the following duties:
- Administer UN Application systems such as FSS modules & NOTICAS.
- SharePoint online development: analyse stakeholder requirements & automate business processes using Microsoft SharePoint online, InfoPath and the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
- SharePoint online & Power BI administration, manage permissions on sites, lists, libraries & reports.
- Create adhoc Microsoft Power BI analytical reports & maintain Microsoft Power BI environment.
- Prepare, maintain user guides & training material of all automated solutions.
- Provide trainings on all deployed UN systems.
Areas of contribution:
- Ensure that the requested solutions are automated as per the requirements gathered & deployed within deadline.
- Ensure the confidentiality, security & integrity of data.
Project reporting
- This role reports to the line manager.
Key competencies
- High school diploma is a must, an IT graduate is desired.
- Certifications in PowerBI & Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
- At least three years of progressively responsible experience in designing, developing, implementing & maintaining application systems.
- Proficient in programming languages, such as .NET Framework, Microsoft SQL, HTML / CSS.
- Sound knowledge of data engineering & data analysis.
- Excellent customer service skills, attentiveness, information retention, tact & diplomacy in dealing with both customers & colleagues.
- Strong communication & organizational skills.
- Detail oriented & high degree of accuracy.
- Fluency in French (both oral & written).
- Good knowledge of English is a desirable.
