- INTRODUCTION
Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with the corporate affairs commission (CAC) with No CAC/IT/NO/139393 in accordance with the Nigerian Law in 2019. FRAD is a Youth Led organization pioneered and steered by a group of passionate youths that are concerned about community development services to realize the sustainable development goals, We work to promote social service through community development projects that ensure meaningful access to services by the people in need, we aim to build the Resilience of vulnerable population especially women and children to create a safe space for them to feel safer in their homes and communities, and be free from all forms of harm, violence and abuse. Our work channels energy to providing education, Nutrition, WASH, Protection and livelihood services in various forms to equip our participant with sustainable skills to thrive and be resilient. We achieve this through our various humanitarian and development interventions leaving no one behind. FRAD seeks a qualified Institutional Capacity Building Consultant to strengthen organizational capacity across three critical areas:

PURPOSE OF CONSULTANCY
The primary purpose of this consultancy is to build and enhance the institutional capacity of FRAD through targeted training programs, policy development, and strategic guidance that will strengthen organizational systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve operational effectiveness. FRAD seeks to engage a qualified Institutional Capacity Building Consultant to provide comprehensive training, policy development, and strategic guidance across three critical areas: Financial Management and Compliance, Branding and Communication, and Leadership Development.
Specific Objectives:
- Strengthen financial management systems and ensure compliance with EFCC and FIRS regulations
- Develop comprehensive branding, communication, and media strategies
- Enhance leadership capabilities of management team and Board of Trustees
- Establish robust institutional governance frameworks and policies
- Build sustainable capacity for long-term organizational effectiveness
SCOPE OF WORK
The consultant will provide capacity building services across three main thematic areas:
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE
Provide training on Financial Management Systems and Procedures toFRAD Finance, Procurement, and Compliance Teams. The training will include but not limited to; Budget planning, monitoring, and evaluation, Internal controls and risk management and Audit preparation and compliance. On compliance and best practices, the training will focus on Anti-corruption policies and procedure, Due diligence processes, Annual tax filing requirements and Tax obligations and requirements for NGOs.
BRANDING AND COMMUNICATION
The consultant is expected to develop a comprehensive branding and marking policy, Comprehensive media engagement strategy and social media management strategy. The Consultant is expected to deliver comprehensive learning to FRAD team, these learning will cover digital storytelling techniques, brand communication, content creation, SEO and digital marketing strategies, website management and optimization training, social media page verification processes, paid advertising campaign setup and management that drive meaningful audience engagement and organizational growth.
LEADERSHIP AND INSTITUTIONAL GOVERNANCE
The consultant is expected to support the training for the BoT and Management on leadership and governance as well as review FRAD Anti-fraud and PSEA prevention strategy
DELIVERABLES
The consultant shall provide the following deliverables:
Financial Management and Compliance
- Comprehensive training for finance, procurement, and compliance teams
- EFCC and FIRS compliance guide
Branding and Communication Training:
- Branding and Marking policy development
- Social media management resources
- website management and optimization training
- social media page verification processes, paid advertising campaign setup and management
Leadership Development Training:
- Training of BoT and Management on strategic leadership and organizational strengthening
- PSEA and Antifraud prevention strategy review.
Qualification and experience of the service provider
- The consulting firm or individual must provide evidence of expertise in the area of Organization capacity development.
- During and after the assignment, the Consulting firm is prohibited from revealing or permitting the revelation of any proprietary or consultancy-related information without obtaining written consent beforehand. Any materials and documents created by the consultants for the assignment will be considered the property of FRAD in terms of proprietary interests.
Lead consultants:
- At least 6 years in handling similar projects in international, National private or public sector.
- The lead expert shall hold a Master of Business Administration, Strategic Planning, or Finance
- Strategic Management. A certification will be an asset.
- Expertise in Nigerian regulatory environment (EFCC, FIRS requirements)
Team members
- The consulting firm must have team members with expertise in Communication and branding, financial compliance and Understanding of Nigerian compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Teams members must carry at least an MBA or any others university degree. They must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the area of Organizational Capacity Development or Strategic Management Planning.
