The opportunity
- Support the MERL Advisor for the proper implementation of the project’s M&E plan Ensure that all the projects’ PMF data and monitoring data are collected as per agreed upon timelines laid down in the M&E plan;
- Support the MERL Advisor for entering of relevant project indicators on PMERL;
- Coordinate data quality assurance, including data spot check for all projects;
- Monitor the performance of the Project’s Database;
- Support in analysis and interpretation of all projects through monitoring data and preparation of key performance dashboards for decision-making;
- Support and participate in on-going monitoring data collection of all the project’s ‘activities through regular field visits and meetings with community, other stakeholders as per the PMF and M&E plan for tracking of outcomes;
- Support the planning, design and coordination of all projects’ baseline, mid-term evaluations, end lines and research initiatives;
- Support the MERL Advisor to ensure development and dissemination of evaluation findings to communities, donors, and key stakeholders in appropriate format;
- Undertake data entry in standardised formats from outcome data collection;
- Ensure that Ethics and Safeguarding in MERL principles are adopted and implemented in all studies and researches.
About You
- Degree in Social Sciences or Statistics, or other related disciplines;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E working in NGOs and other related organizations;
- Prior experience of working in M&E with and for SRH projects with adolescent girls in humanitarian context;
- Strong understanding in monitoring and evaluation processes, particularly data collection and reporting;
- Database management, quality control and validation processes and requirements;
- Prior experience of collecting large scale data both quantitative and qualitative is a must
- Knowledge of statistical software is an added advantage
- Proficient in computer skills and use of research applications, like SPSS;
- Manage quantitative and qualitative data collection, using Survey CTO, ODK, Kobo Collect, etc;
- Use relevant digital data collection tools;
