REQUIREMENTS – University Degree in Pharmacy
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- Previous experience supporting the hospital pharmacy and drugs’ management
- Previous professional experience in developing countries
- Adaptability
KEY DUTIES The candidate must be able to take charge of the management of drugs in collaboration with the rest of the health and support team.
The main activities will be:
· sort the warehouses in the county, peripheral health facilities and hospitals
· introduce/strengthen management tools for monitoring drug stocks
· define the procedure for the delivery/distribution/reception/management of drugs destined for community activities between peripheral structures and communities
· support in compiling the monthly report on the state of the stocks required for each healthcare facility and the CHD
· take care of the traceability documentation of the deliveries of ministerial / HPF kits at the county level, health facility, community and hospital
· monitor processing consumption trends in an existing distribution plan and apurchase/request plan
· train and supervise healthcare staff and community teams on stock management and the correct prescription of drugs
