As Program Manager, Food & Cash Assistance, you will lead the establishment and operationalization of the White Nile State Office while providing overall leadership for the implementation of the Integrated Food and Cash Assistance Programme across White Nile and South Kordofan States. You will ensure that General Food Assistance (GFA), Nutrition, School Meals, and Resilience project models are implemented in accordance with WFP and World Vision International (WVI) minimum standards, policies, and guidelines, reaching approximately 500,000 participants.
You will lead coordination and collaboration with WFP, relevant World Vision sectors, State Government line ministries, and other partners to ensure that programme objectives and planned outputs are effectively achieved.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Development/Social Science, Agriculture, or any relevant field.
- Five years’ experience at a senior level in Food and Cash Assistance programming in emergencies and the development sector
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluation of WFP/USAID programming.
- Proven track record for multi-sector program design and implementation in large and complex emergencies.
- Strong track record of successful coordination or management of large Food and Cash Assistance operations.
- Working knowledge of humanitarian codes, standards, principles, and ability to mainstream leading cross-cutting themes.
- Knowledge of child protection standards, principles, and implementation
- The person must be results-oriented, good at public relations, and able to promote a team spirit.
- The holder of this position must be a results-oriented leader who can manage and satisfy multiple tasks from competing organizational, donor, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure (particularly in a crisis situation)
- Ability to communicate well in English (verbal and written), particularly in a crisis situation.
- Strong project management design, accountability, monitoring, and evaluation skills preferred
- Strong programming knowledge and experience on WFP GFA/PSN/SAMS models.
- Good knowledge of Commodity Tracking Systems and beneficiary database management.
- Must be an analytical, innovative, and self-managed leader.
- Demonstrated personal values, attitudes and behaviours that are consistent with World Vision Core Values.
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
- Requires 70% in-country travel
- Physically fit for the field engagement
- Fluent English, spoken and written
