International Transformation Foundation (ITF) is an international, youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people through comprehensive education and self-development programs in entrepreneurship and leadership. Current Projects:
• Jijenge Kijana Fund – A youth livelihood program offering micro-credit and micro-saving training to help members build sustainable livelihoods and lift themselves out of poverty.
• A Water Kiosk at School – A school-based, student-managed business that sells clean tap water to the community, both improving health and providing schools with sustainable income.
• Public Drinking Water Fountain – Installation of sustainable tap water stations in public spaces to ensure affordable access to clean water while raising awareness about reducing single-use plastic.
• Erasmus+ Partnerships – Global capacity-building projects co-financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, aimed at tackling youth unemployment by bridging education and the labor market.

Job Description
In conjunction with the Secretary General, the Public Relations – Resource Mobilizer will be responsible for generating both financial and non-financial resources to sustain ITF’s operations and programs.

Primary Responsibilities
• Identify and prepare grant proposals and develop other fundraising strategies for projects and office expenses.
• Develop a funds generation and resource mobilization work plan and oversee its implementation.
• Maintain ongoing engagement with supporters, ensuring transparency on project progress, impact, and financial accountability through personalized communication and detailed reports.
• Expand ITF’s supporter base by leading structured fundraising campaigns.
• Mobilize non-financial resources from private sector entities, individuals, and corporate partners.
• Coordinate agreements connected to funding opportunities and ensure timely submission of reports and grant renewals.
• Monitor donor reporting and grant expenditure deadlines, preparing high-quality narrative and financial reports in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Contribute to the production of the ITF Newsletter with a focus on resource mobilization updates.
• Keep ITF’s fundraising and resource mobilization records up to date.
• Strengthen ITF’s fundraising strategies through independent research and benchmarking against larger nonprofit organizations.

Candidate Specifications
• Must be between the ages of 18 – 30.
• Must commit to a minimum of six months full-time service.
• Strong interest in fundraising, partnerships, communications, and nonprofit growth.
• Highly motivated and passionate about supporting communities, with a genuine interest in career development in the nonprofit sector.

Education Background
• A degree or diploma in Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Development Studies, International Relations, or a related field is desirable.
• Candidates with strong demonstrated experience in fundraising, writing proposals, or mobilizing resources will also be considered, even if they do not hold a formal qualification in the above fields.

Compensation
Although ITF Volunteer staff enjoy limitless opportunities, ITF does NOT provide any form of compensation. ITF staff operate on a full-time volunteer basis. Volunteers are responsible for their own basic expenses, such as accommodation and transport to the office. ITF provides direct operational expenses only, such as transport to meetings, field visits, and official operations.

The ITF flagship projects are:1. 1 Slum100 computers project: Providing free computer training and entrepreneurship mentoring to youth in Eastern Nairobi slums and informal settlements to be familiar enough with basic computer applications and design a profitable computer based business. At completion of the training and mentorship, we loan them computers and other technological devices to help them set up a computer based business such as cybercafé. 2. Join the Pipe Project: Also know as a water kiosk at school it consist of Financing Community based Schools and youth associations to set up join the Pipe water Kiosk model at school/ community across Kenya for people to access clean drinking water and sanitation whenever possible. 3. Jijenge Kijana Fund- a youth Livelihood Pathways offering microcredit, micro- saving and training enabling ITF members to engage in productive and stable livelihoods. 4. Youth Leadership & Entrepreneurship Trainings- Consisting of debates and workshops giving East African youth life didactic principles with intensive instructions that shoves them to expand their boundaries of knowledge molding them into great leaders and entrepreneurs .
