Technical Specialists, Madagascar Feed the Future

ACDI/VOCA is preparing for an upcoming Feed the Future Activity in Madagascar funded by USAID. The anticipated program aims to invest in solutions and partnerships in nutrition sensitive food systems, market-led agriculture growth, sustainable management of natural resources (including land, water, and biodiversity), social cohesion and protection, and climate change mitigation and adaptation to enhance Madagascar’s resilience to shocks and stresses and allow for a more prosperous and secure future.

The program is anticipated to start in 2025, and cover select districts in the Southwest, Grand South and Southeast of Madagascar.

Responsibilities

Seeking Candidates Qualified in the Below Areas of Expertise:

  • Inclusive Food and Agricultural Systems
  • Private Sector Engagement
  • Natural Resource Management
  • Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation
  • Biodiversity and Conservation
  • Entrepreneurship and Youth Engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required; master’s degree is desired.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in relevant field.
  • Experience working in Madagascar preferred.
  • Fluency in English is preferred; fluency in French and/or Malagasy is required.

Malagasy nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
