Here’s where you come in:

As THRIVE Operations, Communications and Administration Assistant, VisionFund International, you will support and report to the Director of Operations, Strategic Integration and Partnerships. You will be responsible for providing strategic support in operations, communications, and administration to ensure Operational Excellence of THRIVE implementation by VFI and MFIs. This will be in the areas of FAST (Finance Accelerating Savings Group Transformation), Credi-Enterprise, Insurance, Agri/Climate Finance, EWV And Digitization. The primary responsibilities of this role include administration of workshops, conferences and meetings, travels, information management of the project, report writing and developing effective communications to raise the flagship of THRIVE 2030 across the partnership and beyond.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, Operations, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations, communications, administration, or related field, preferably in microfinance, economic development, and livelihoods.
  • Ability to offer new ideas/open to new approaches, demonstrate systemic/integrated thinking
  • Primary working language is English. Added advantage French and or Spanish.
  • Needs to be able to travel to in the region including Fragile regions.
  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time.
