As the Analyst – Financial Management Kolwezi Cluster youwill be responsible for providing comprehensive financial oversight and operational support across a project cluster, ensuring effective resource utilization, compliance, and accurate reporting. It involves monitoring burn rates, conducting variance analysis, and producing detailed project and cluster-level financial reports, including Field Financial Reports (FFRs) for internal and donor stakeholders. You will lead budget coordination, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and accurate integration into financial systems such as Horizon and IMPAQ, while maintaining audit-ready documentation. You will also oversee invoice processing, mobile money disbursements, asset management, and reconciliation processes in collaboration with finance and operations teams. Additionally, the role supports field operations through regular engagement, payment processing, and procurement review, while managing shared cost allocations, asset tracking, and compliance with cost recovery and Support Cost Reallocation (SCR) guidelines.

Requirements include:

  • First degree in Accounting or Finance. A professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a finance role
  • In-depth working knowledge of accounting software packages, especially Sun Systems, Vision XL and Vision Executive.
  • In-depth working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and WV Finance policies & procedures.
  • In-depth working knowledge of grant and sponsorship accounting.
  • Knowledge of how to prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  • Able to perform complex financial analyses
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to articulate and communicate ideas well verbally and in writing
