As the Senior Analyst – Partner Management youwill be responsible for ensuring strong financial oversight, compliance, and capacity building across partners and sub-grantees within grant programs. It involves analysing and reviewing partner financial reports for accuracy and compliance, monitoring adherence to donor and organizational requirements, and supporting audits through proper documentation and coordination. The position leads partner due diligence, onboarding, and continuous engagement, serving as the main finance liaison while delivering targeted training to enhance partners’ financial management capabilities. Additionally, it supports proposal development, assesses partner operational capacity, and strengthens financial planning and forecasting, while contributing to performance tracking through partner scorecards. The role also includes mentoring junior finance staff and promoting best practices in budgeting, monitoring, and compliance.

Requirements include:

  • First degree in Accounting or Finance and/or professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Financial Planning and Budgeting in International NGO
  • Knowledge in Data science and Data analytics preferred
  • In-depth working knowledge of accounting software packages; Sun Systems, Vision XL and Vision Executive, PowerBI and Power Apps
  • In-depth working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS
  • Experience in international grant accounting, proposal budget development and reporting
  • Knowledge of how to prepare, review, and present financial statements and financial reports.
  • Able to perform complex financial analyses
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to articulate and communicate ideas well verbally and in writing
  • Experience capacity building and training
